The Ford county Public Health Department in partnership with Ford County ROSC provide harm reduction services throughout Ford County to support overdose prevention efforts and increase access to Naloxone (Narcan) and other harm reduction resources.

Health Kiosk & Sharps Disposal Bin
Loccated Behind the Ford County Public Health Building (South Side) at 1500 W Ottawa Rd. Paxton IL, 60957. Available 24 Hours a day!
Health Kiosk and Sharps Disposal Bin.
The Health Kiosk Contains:
- Naloxone (Narcan)
- Fentanyl Test Strips
- Save Sex Kits
- Sharps Containers
- CPR Face Masks
- Deterra - Medication Disposal Pouches
Sharps Disposal Bin instructions:
- All Sharps Must be in a Container!
- Empty laundry Detergent or bleach bottles and need to be Puncture Resistant, Non-See-Through and Must Have the Cap on Tight.
- The Puncture Resistant Bottles Can Contain: Needles, Syringes, Lancets Infusion Sets, Used EpiPens and Insulin Pens.
Items NOT Allowed in the sharps Disposal Bin:
- NO Garbage
- NO Medication
- NO LOOSE SHARPS!!!
- NO Aerosol Cans, Inhalers, Liquids, Hazardous Chemicals or Waist

Piper City - City Hall - 133 E Peoria St. (provides both)
Gibson City Bowling Alley - 905 S. Sangamon Ave, (provides both)
Gibson City Laundry 304 N Sangamon Ave. (Naloxone box only - inside)
