Ford County is Offering the Vaccine to Anyone in Illinois
To address access to care and transportation issues, vaccine clinics will be scheduled in various locations in Ford County. Follow us on Facebook or click here to see upcoming clinics.
As of Wednesday, May 12th, 2021, children 12-15 years-old can receive the Pfizer vaccine. To schedule an appointment, please call Gibson Area Hospital at 217-784-2734.
Vaccine Registration Details
The Illinois Department of Public Health also created a helpline to schedule your vaccine appointment. To make a vaccine appointment, residents can call 833-621-1284 between 6am and midnight. The call center is open daily.
Vaccine Locations
Gibson Area Hospital can provide COVID-19 vaccines to all GAHHS patients 12 and older, regardless of county of residence. To schedule an appointment, call 217-784-2734. These doses will be administered at GAH.
In addition to health departments, local pharmacies are partnering with the Illinois Department of Public Health to adminster vaccines. To find a pharmacy near you, click here. Type in your zip code and select the radius you are willing to travel. All vaccinations are by appointment only. Please check this site regularly, as new sites and pharmacies are being added daily.
